A 27-year-old Salida man who was found loitering behind a closed business was arrested Wednesday morning, August 13 due to his felony warrant for his arrest related to weapons violations.

At approximately 1:28 a.m., Ceres Police Officer Eric Souza was patrolling the area behind the retail businesses in the 1600 block of Hatch Road when he spotted Joshua Ryan hanging around the loading dock at the rear of a business. Officer Souza contacted Ryan and through a records check, learned about the warrant.

Ryan was arrested on the warrant and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
