Man arrested after violating restraining order
Showed up at his exs house on Winthrop Way

Violating a restraining order to stay away from his ex-girlfriend in Ceres caused a 47-year-old Salida man to be sent to the county jail on Monday, Jan. 12.

Police say that Arturo Torillo showed up at his ex's house in the 1600 block of Winthrop Way at 6:59 p.m. despite the restraining order. Police were called and when they showed up, Torillo appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. He told police that he was dropped off by friends.

Torillo was arrested and charged with violation of a restraining order and being under the influence.
