A 26-year-old Modesto man with arrest warrants and riding a bicycle was arrested early Thursday after he was searched and found with a small bag of methamphetamine.

At 12:28 a.m., Officer Lorenzo Beltran was patrolling the 1800 block of Mitchell Road when he contacted Kristian Ayala. During a records check, it was learned that Ayala had three warrants for his arrest, one of which was a felony. He was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and the warrants and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
