Man jailed for passing bad check

Robert Sullivan, 21, of Sacramento, was arrested on Jan. 23 at the Ceres branch of Bank of America for trying to cash a fraudulent check

Officer Pat Dayton arrived and saw the suspect running from the bank so he radioed to Officer Coey Henson who was near the bank and followed Sullivan in his patrol car. While in the post office parking lot, Henson told the suspect that if he didn't stop that he would release his canine, Dex. Sullivan immediately gave up and was arrested.

Sullivan was booked into the County Jail for attempting to cash a fraudulent check.
