Transient Javier Covarrubias, 38, was arrested for possession of heroin and probation violation after he was heard yelling and causing a disturbance behind the Auto Zone store on Hatch Road.

Officer Matt Berlier contacted Covarrubias at 3:53 a.m. on Friday and determined that he was under the influence of drugs. He was searched and heroin was found on him.
