Reports of a man on a bicycle peeking into the windows of cars parked at an apartment complex in the 1900 block of Evans Road on Friday resulted in his arrest.

A bystander called 9-1-1 at 12:35 p.m. to report the suspicious actions of Angelo Pacheco, 35, of Modesto. Officer Ross Bays arrived and located Pacheco as matching the description given by the caller. Pacheco had a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest issued by the Ceres Police Department. Pacheco was also on probation and during a search, his backpack yielded illegal narcotics.

Pacheco was arrested and booked into jail for possession of drug paraphernalia, violating probation and the CPD warrant.
