A 51-year-old Ceres man was arrested Sunday evening after he crashed into parked vehicles in the 3600 block of Blaker Road and was determined to be intoxicated.

Ceres Police Officer Angel Murillo arrived on scene after the 5:41 p.m. dispatch and determined that Americo Ponce, had crashed into the vehicles and appeared drunk. After breathing into a breathalyzer, it was determined that Ponce’s blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was more than four times the legal limit to drive.

Ponce was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of DUI.
