A man who told police that he was trying to buy $10 worth of marijuana from two men on the street was robbed by them instead Friday evening.

The man called police at 8:11 p.m. that he was robbed in the 1800 block of Richland Avenue by two black males, one of whom was armed with a semi-automatic handgun. The suspects took $50 cash and his cell phone.
