A 65-year-old Modesto man who was observed by an officer weaving in his lane in the area of Hatch and Moffett roads was ultimately arrested and booked for drunken driving early Friday.
At 12:37 a.m. Officer Aaron Pinon was on patrol when he saw a silver-colored Toyota Avalon spotted the weaving and equipment issues and stopped Jose Perez. He appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and a DUI investigation was conducted. Perez was then arrested for DUI and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
