A 43-year-old Riverbank man who was spotted walking in the middle of Ninth Street near Roeding Road late Tuesday, Nov. 5 proved to be wanted by the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department.

At 11:21 p.m. Officer Krandall Vandagriff spotted Noah Beasly walking in the darkened road and stopped to ask why he was in the middle of the road. Beasly told the officer that he was looking for his girlfriend. 

Dispatchers notified the officer that Beasly was wanted for felony charges of evading a police officer. Beasly was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for the felony warrant.
