Ceres Police Department is seeking to arrest Marzah Younker, 31, of Ceres, for burglary after she allegedly tried breaking into a house and car on Saturday morning.

At 7:41 a.m. police were tipped off by a homeowner in the 3600 block of Burton Drive about a heavy-set woman with dirty blonde hair trying to break into a house. Officers checked the area as a resident in the 3600 block of Havenwood Way called about the same female breaking into his Jeep in the driveway. The second man confronted the woman and ordered her to get on her knees as somebody else called 911. The suspect pepper sprayed the citizen in the face, temporarily blinding him before she fled the area. In the process, however, the probation release form for Younker was accidentally left behind.

A warrant has been issued for Younkers' arrest for burglary and assault.
