A man who was reported to be masturbating in his parked pickup in the 2800 block of Wix Lane Saturday evening was found with a stash of marijuana.

At 6:39 p.m. police were called about a man sexually gratifying himself inside of a blue 1964 Chevy pickup that was parked facing the wrong way on the north side of the street. An officer arrived to find Sergio Hernandez, 47, of Ceres, locking up the vehicle to leave it. Hernandez denied he was masturbating. However, the officer spotted a jar containing marijuana in full view of the street. Hernandez denied a consensual search but the officer confiscated the pot and arrested the suspect for possession of marijuana.
