Police are investigating a case of road rage between two parents who had a close call with vehicles in front of La Rosa Elementary School on Monday afternoon.

Sgt. Jose Berber said two parents picking up students at 2:42 p.m. got into a heated verbal argument over a maneuver, with one alleging their vehicle had been hit. The screaming match escalated with one of the parents being poked in the nose by a finger.

Police are asking all parents to abide by the rules of the road and to be cautious. A school resource officer will be posted in front of La Rosa to watch for unsafe actions, said Berber.
