STING deputies arrested 24-year-old Erik Fregozo-Gonzalez for three robberies committed over a one-month period in Modesto.
The robberies were committed on Jan. 13 in the 300 block of Gates Road, Jan. 25 at Zeering and Jennings roads, and Feb. 3 at Vivian and Service roads.
During the investigation, STING deputies learned that the suspect wore a black mask, was armed with a semi-auto handgun and he drove a silver two-door sedan. They were able to identify Fregozo-Gonzalez as the suspect in the robberies. He was arrested Tuedsay, Feb. 9 during a traffic stop in the 900 block of Martin Luther King Drive in Modesto.
Fregozo-Gonzalez was booked into the Stanislaus County Jail for robbery, attempted robbery and using a firearm in the commission of a felony.
