Ceres Police showed up at a home in the 1600 block of Lois Way on Friday afternoon to serve an arrest warrant on Ronald Scott, 33, of Ceres, and ended up hitting him with a Taser gun after he ran from officers.

Scott was wanted for violating the terms of his probation.

Police surrounded the house at 5:35 p.m. before announcing their presence. When they called for Scott to come out, the suspect took off running out of the back of house. Officers chased him and in one yard over ended up shooting him with the Taser. He was then arrested with incident.

Scott reportedly said of his Tasering, "That's what happens when you run from police."
