Shoplifting arrests made at Walmart

At least two persons were arrested for shoplifting at Walmart in two separate incidents within five days.

On Wednesday morning, Aug. 5, Jonathan Richey, 21, of Ceres, was detained by Walmart store loss prevention officer after he left the store with goods he didn't pay for at 9:44 a.m. Richey was cited and released for shoplifting.

On Sunday morning, Aug. 9, Mayra Campos, 34, of Modesto, was detained by the store's loss prevention officer after she tried to leave with stolen merchandise. Campos was cited and released for shoplifting in the 10:35 a.m. police call.
