A 23-year-old Ceres parolee was arrested Monday morning after he was stopped in a stolen car and found with burglary tools.

At 10:23 a.m. Detective Jason Brock saw a 1994 Honda Accord reported stolen being driven in the area of Fowler and Boothe roads. After confirming the car was stolen, Brock pulled over driver Arturo Carrillo, 23, of Ceres, and arrested him for possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of burglary tool, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of the terms of his parole. Carrillo was on parole for a prior assault with a deadly weapon conviction.
