A 41-year-old Ceres man was arrested Wednesday morning, May 19 when two officers caught him inside of a car and had stolen money from inside it.

Officers Aaron Pinon and Scott Faure were dispatched to the parking lot of the La Morenita Restaurant in the 1600 block of Hatch Road at 5:11 a.m. with the report of a man looking into a red-colored Toyota Camry in the parking lot. 

The officers found Jason Solomon, 41, of Ceres, inside the vehicle. He was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of burglary, vandalism, and violation of parole.
