Reports of a man who looked suspicious walking down the street wearing a ski mask, black gloves and what was believed to be a rifle case was arrested on warrants on Tuesday evening, Oct. 24.
Officer Aaron Pinon was dispatched at 11:03 a.m. to the area of Hatch Road and Central Avenue to look for the man, who was later identified as Abraham Orozco, 32, of Modesto. He was located at Payne Avenue and Quilling Court. The officer determined Orozco wasn’t out committing any crimes but a records check revealed he had two misdemeanor arrests and a felony warrant for auto theft. Orozco was arrested for the three warrants and later booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
