Ceres Cop Car

Brennden Curtiss, 19, of Salida, was arrested and booked early Saturday for possession of a glass methamphetamine smoking pipe and a piece of broken spark plug, commonly used in breaking glass for burglaries.

Curtiss and another male were acting suspiciously around the AM/PM store at Ninth and Whitmore. Their actions were flagged to Ceres Police at 1:07 a.m. Officer Kiashira Ruiz spoke with the two in the parking lot near a pickup. Curtiss was questioned about this broken spark plug and admitted to it being used to break windows. He was arrested and booked for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of burglary tools.
