Theft interrupted at Central Valley High School

Police believe that a passerby interrupted a theft of sporting equipment at the Central Valley High School campus early Sunday morning.

A call was made to 911 at 2:26 a.m. altering police to persons who were cutting the chain link fence around Central Valley High School. By the time officers arrived the suspects had left but there was a hole in the fence and track hurdles nearby.

Police only know that the suspects may have been in a small yellow pickup. Anyone with information on the suspects may be phoned into the Detectives Bureau at 538-5727.
