Turlock man arrested for reckless driving in front of sergeant

A 31-year-old Turlock man was arrested Wednesday morning, Oct. 26 after a Ceres Police sergeant witnessed him driving recklessly down Hatch Road.

At 8 a.m., Sergeant Travis Hudson was in the area of Hatch and Faith Home roads when he saw a westbound gray-colored Honda Civic headed speeding and passing vehicles across double yellow lines. Fearing for the public’s safety, Sergeant Hudson stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver, Christian Garcia, 31, of Turlock for reckless driving. He was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
