The brother of a Ceres woman was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 23 after allegedly breaking into the house of his sister's boyfriend in an attempt to beat him up for a prior altercation with her.

The sister was later arrested as the aggressor in the prior altercation, which occurred the day prior.

According to Ceres Police Department spokesman Lt. Chris Perry, Marcus Ancona, 25, Ceres, drove to his sister's boyfriend's house in the 900 block of Willow Lake Way at 7:34 a.m. Ancona allegedly kicked the front door in and attempts to find the boyfriend but was intercepted by the mother to prevent any contact. Ancona allegedly grabbed some car keys from the counter and left with them to bait the boyfriend to coming finding them, said Lt. Perry.

Police were called after Ancona left the scene and officers found him in a home in the 2200 block of Herndon Road. He was arrested and charged with home invasion robbery.

Ancona's sister, Gabrielle Morales, 19, of Ceres, was arrested for domestic violence as she was "deemed a primary aggressor in the prior accident," said Perry.
