Two occupants of a car were arrested early Thursday, Oct. 23 after the car they were riding in was stopped at Morgan and Hackett roads.

An officer stopped the vehicle at 1 a.m. and found driver Robert Herr, 56, of Ceres, did not have a license. The car was searched which led to the discovery of methamphetamine and the arrest of Herr and passenger Alice Barela, 44, of Ceres, on charges of possession of a controlled substance.
