Police are hoping the public can help provide clues that lead to the arrest of two youth who pulled off an aggressive verbal demand for property on Monday, Dec. 15.
The two victims, aged 16 and 17 were walking home in the 1500 block of Central Avenue at 5:02 p.m. after visiting a friend when they were accosted by two males judged to be about 18 and 19 years old. The assailants demanded money but didn't produce any weapon. The two victims said they had no money but the suspects grew more aggressive and demanded cell phones. That's when the 17-year-old victim decided to hand over his wallet containing $20.
The suspects ran away on foot into the darkness. They were described as possibly Hispanic and wearing dark-colored jackets. One was said to be tall and thin. One suspect may go by the name of Isaac.
