When an officer stopped Tonya Smith, 38, of Modesto, for a bicycle violation, on Sept. 24 she had a warrant for her arrest for theft with prior convictions. Smith also was found with methamphetamine pipe and a methamphetamine pipe hidden in her bra.

She was removed from the scene at Herndon Road and Eugene Avenue at 11:37 p.m. and booked for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and for the warrant.
