Ceres City Council to soon start meetings at 6 p.m.
CitySeal

The Ceres City Council will soon be changing the starting time of meetings, which continue to be on the second and fourth Mondays of each month.

The council had been in the practice of holding fairly regular study sessions at 5:30 p.m., followed by 7 p.m. meetings. After the change takes place in August, the city will roll any study session discussions into the regular meeting, which will start at 6 p.m.

The first meeting under the new time will be on Monday, Aug. 28.

The Ceres City Council meets at the Ceres Community Center, 2701 Fourth Street, Ceres.
