County seeks poll workers for June 5

The Stanislaus County Registrar of Voters is looking for registered California voters to help at the election polls this coming Election Day, Tuesday, June 5.

Approximately 1,000 workers are needed for the election throughout Stanislaus County.

Bilingual poll workers fluent in English and Spanish, Khmer, Punjabi or Syriac are especially needed.

Poll workers receive a stipend of between $95 and $130 for the day's work.

To be eligible poll workers must be registered to vote in California, complete two to three hours of training and be available the entire day on June 5.
