CUSD recognizes 32 employees
Lillian Parnoutsoukian
Personnel Technician Lillian Parnoutsoukian received a plaque from CUSD Supt. Scott Siegel and CUSD Board President Mike Welsh for being named CUSD’s Confidential Employee of the Year.

A total of 32 Ceres Unified School District employees were recognized during the Feb. 6 Ceres School Board meeting.

Personnel Technician Lillian Parnoutsoukian was named CUSD’s Confidential Employee of the Year.

Credential Analyst Kim Webster was named CUSD’s Classified Employee of the Year.

Named as site-level “Classified Employees of the Year” were: Sheri Littleton (Adkison Elementary), Katie Kelley (Patricia Kay Beaver Leadership Magnet), Lorena Rivas (Caswell Elementary), Adam Verhaegen (Don Pedro Elementary), Carolina Delgado (Fowler Elementary), Zenaida Chavez (Hidahl Elementary), Araceli Contreras (La Rosa Elementary), Edith Orozco (Lucas Elementary Dual Language Academy), Maria Garcia De Gutierrez (Sam Vaughn Elementary), Cortni Coutrakis (Sinclear Elementary), Maninderjit Basra (Virginia Parks Elementary), Sylvia Martinez (Walter White Elementary), Lourdes Manriquez (Westport Elementary), Brenda Corona (Blaker-Kinser Junior High), Katina Hammonds (Cesar Chavez Junior High), Celina Palafox (Mae Hensley Jr. High), Monica Ortiz (Argus/Endeavor High), Gerardo Solis (Central Valley High) and Esmeralda Macias (Ceres High).

Named as department-level “Classified Employees of the Year” were: Webster (Personnel Services), Rita Trejo (Child Nutrition), Sandi Vera (Educational Services), Roxanna Perry (Fiscal Services), Jesus Gutierrez (Maintenance Department), Vanessa Campos (Student Support Services-Special Education), Jesusita Diaz (Student Support Services-Educational Options), Ambar Cruz (Student Support Services-State Preschool), Ana Hernandez (Student Support Services-Student Support Department), Zach Nyquist (Technology/Media Services) and Heather Williams (Transportation).

Webster, Kelley and Martinez were also nominated for the Stanislaus County Office of Education’s “Employees Making a Difference” recognition program.
