The Ceres Chamber of Commerce will host a Candidate Forum on Tuesday, Feb. 11 for the candidates seeking the District 5 seat on the Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors.

The public is encouraged to attend the 7 p.m. event at the Ceres Community Center inside the City Council Chambers to submit questions and hear from the three candidates.

Running for the seat being vacated by Jim DeMartini are Chance Condit and Mike Kline, both members of the Ceres City Council, and Tom Hallinan who is currently the city attorney.

The three are on the March 3 primary election ballot. If none of the three candidates collect at least 50 percent of the vote, the top two candidates will face off in the Nov. 3 general election.
