A memorial service was held Tuesday at Eaton Funeral Chapel in Modesto for Alene Harris, 78, of Ceres. She died May 6, 2012 at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.
Burial was at Ceres Memorial Park.
Born March 18, 1934 in Holdenville, Okla., Mrs. Harris had enormous love for family and cherished her friends for life. Her positive spirit touched many.
She leaves behind her husband of 59 years, Jessie Harris of Ceres; her daughter, Sherry Grogan of Ceres; three grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
