A funeral service was held Thursday at the Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs for Alla Mae Johnson, 88, of Ceres. She died Aug. 11, 2007.
Burial was at Ceres Memorial Park.
Born Jan. 4, 1919, Mrs. Johnson was a native of Lindsay, Okla., and a member of the United Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed attending church, working in her flower garden, and watching birds from her hospital window.
She leaves behind her husband, Samuel Johnson of Ceres; her two daughters, Lois Taylor of Pocatella, Idaho and Melinda Black of Ceres; her brother, Wylie Davis of Eugene, Ore.; and six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
