A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Moose Lodge in Turlock for Alta Dean Rodgers Cadwell, 69, of South Modesto. She died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2005 at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Eaton Family Funeral Home.

Born Feb. 6, 1936, Mrs. Cadwell was a native of Seminole, Okla., and lived in South Modesto for 48 years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed trips to the lake, the ocean, camping, roses and music.

She leaves behing her husband, Bobby C. Cadwell of Modesto; five children, Bobby D. Cadwell of La Grange, Michael Wayne Cadwell, Sonye R. Carver and Cindy M. Cadwell, all of Modesto, and Rebecca O. Sullivan of Ceres; three brothers, Kenneth Rodgers and Ronald Rodgers, both of Modesto and Willis Rodgers of Downey; five sisters, Velta Ford and Lanell Jenson, both of Modesto, Frances Rodgers of Tucson, Ariz., Carol Heard of Turlock and Bonnie Zaske of Oakdale; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Pauline Rodgers; three brothers; one sister; and one great-grandchild.
