A Mass was held Thursday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church for Arthur E. Bonetti, 80, of Ceres. He died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005 at Hy-Lond Convalescent Hospital in Modesto.

Private burial at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery was under the direction of the Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs.

Born Feb. 19, 1925, Mr. Bonetti was a native of San Jose and lived in Ceres for 16 years. He was a driver for Pepsi Cola for 25 years. Mr. Bonetti was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Hughson, and a former member of the Elks Lodge in Santa Clara. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Mr. Bonetti leaves behind his wife, Barbara Bonetti of Ceres; four children, Christina Murphy of Washington state, Marilyn Sorenson and Paul Bonetti, both of Wisconsin, and David Bonetti of Georgetown; four stepchildren, Marilyn Diggins of Hughson, John Diggins of Downey, Denise Westphal of Folsom and Julie Winter of Placerville; his sister, Genevieve Stevens of Arizona; and 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
