A family gathering will be held at a later date at the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Cemetery in Grand Ronde, Ore., for Barbara Ann Hilton Plunkett, 68, of Venture. She died Aug. 8, 2010.
On July 28, 1942, Barbara was born to Oley and Florence Hilton in Tacoma, Wash. She moved to California in April 1952 and attended Ceres schools, graduating from Ceres High School in 1960. Mrs. Plunkett was a member of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde. She lived in Venture for over 20 years.
She leaves behind her brother Ralph Byron of Seattle, Wash.; and her sister, Judy Sheridan of Groveland. She was preceded in death her parents, and sister Donna Hall.
