A Celebration of Life was held Saturday at Samaritan Village in Hughson for Billy Joel Hall, 58, of Modesto. He died Saturday, January 24, 2009.
Born Oct. 4, 1950 in New Orleans, La., Billy moved to Modesto in 1964. He was a 1969 graduate of Davis High School. He was employed for many years as a brick mason. Billy enjoyed golf and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys.
He leaves behind his mother, Linda Hazen of Hughson; his children, Jake Hall and Caryn, both of Modesto; three brothers, Bud Hall of Modesto, Mike Hall of New South Wales, Australia and David Hall of Ripon; his companion, Sylvia D'Angelo of Modesto; and his granddaughter, Madalyn, all of Modesto. He was preceded in death by father Robbie Joel Hall.
