Cunningham's Affordable Burial Service was in charge of arrangements for Bonnie Josephine Kiefer, 84, of Ceres. She died March 18, 2005 in Turlock.
Burial was in Roseburg, Ore.
Born Nov. 28, 1920, Mrs. Kiefer was a native of Tennessee and grew up near Bozeman, Montana. She was married to John Kiefer in Vallejo in 1945. They moved to Oakland and then Fremont where they raised their children. Recently she has been living with her daughter in Ceres since 1990. She was a homemaker.
She leaves behind three daughters, Bonnie Triplat of Rosemont, Mary Stephens of Ceres, and Ruth Kauffmann of Bothell, Wash.; her brother, William Garlie of Wisconsin; and eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, and a son, John A. Kiefer.
