A funeral service was held Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Turlock for Bruce Donald Reed, Jr., 57, of Turlock. The former Hughson resident died Nov. 17, 2010 at home after a battle with cancer.
Allen Mortuary was in charge of private burial at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Born April 1953 in Turlock to Don and Lois Reed, Bruce graduated from Hughson High School in 1971. He lived in the Turlock/Hughson area most of his life.
He leaves behind his wife, Deena Reed of Turlock; two children, Christopher Lewis and Melissa Reed, both of Turlock; his parents, Don and Lois Reed of Atwater; two brothers, Dick Reed of Hughson and Terry Reed of Atwater; and one grandchild, Logan Lewis. He was preceded in death by sister Karen Stehle.
