A graveside service was held Tuesday at Lakewood Memorial Park for Calvert Michael Soares, 40, of Hughson. He died Aug. 21, 2012.
Born Nov. 26, 1971 in Hampton, Va., to Ralph and Randy Soares, Calvert was a resident of Hughson for most of his life. He attended Hughson Elementary School, and was a 1991 graduate of Hughson High School. He enjoyed spending his time working on his Jeep, watching NASCAR races and attending Giants baseball games. He had a talent for drawing and loved spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Soares was a hard worker who was employed by Billington Manufacturing for 10 years.
He leaves behind his mother, Randy L. Fannon; and his father, Ralph M. Soares.
