Services were held Tuesday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Claudeen Cooper Caviness, 75, of Modesto. She died Jan. 21, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto after a very long illness.
Born Dec. 24, 1932, Claudeen was a member of Richland Faith Assemby of God in Ceres. She enjoyed making crafts, crocheting and spending time with family and friends.
She leaves behind her husband, Dee Caviness of Modesto; her two daughters, DeNetta Silva of Riverbank, and Sherri Cooper of Modesto; four stepchildren; her brother, Jack Safrit of St. Maries, Idaho; her sister, Joyce Patire of Modesto; and one grandson, J.D. Silva of Modesto; six step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dewey Cooper.
