A funeral Mass was held Tuesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Manteca for Diane Annette Bowman Kelly, 52, of Ceres. She died April 19, 2011 in Modesto.

P.L. Fry & Son of Manteca was in charge of arrangements.

Burial was at St. John's Mausoleum in Escalon.

Born March 1, 1959 in Stockton, Diane grew up in Manteca, graduating from Manteca High School in 1977. She was a resident of Ceres for the past 21 years and was employed for over 11 years by the Ceres Unified School District as a certified school worker. She enjoyed being around children especially out at the playground at work. In her children's younger years she was involved with many of their activities such as Girl Scouts. Mrs. Kelley enjoyed reading, networking on Facebook, camping, boating, and waterskiing. She was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan always routing on her team to victory.

She leaves behind her husband of 31 years, Marvin Kelley of Ceres; three children, Justin Kelley, Kaitlyn Kelley and Amanda Kelley, all of Ceres; her brother, Mark Bowman of Hughson; her sister, Becky Carter of Modesto; and half sister Michelle Bowman of Angels Camp. She was preceded in death by mother and step-father Anntoinette Boling and Edmund D. Boling and father Richard Bowman.
