A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Abundant Life Christian Center in Modesto for Edna Estelle Duca Baldridge, 88, of Modesto. She died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005 at her home.

Burial will to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel.

Born Oct. 25, 1917, Mrs. Baldridge was a native of Dewar, Okla., and had lived in Modesto since 1945. She was a homemaker and had worked at the Ceres High School cafeteria. Mrs. Baldridge was a member of Abundant Life Christian Center. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, quilting and gardening.

She leaves behind five children, Sue Wisdom of Sandy, Ore., Linda Meyers, Loren Baldridge and Janet Slowers, all of Modesto, and Judy Fudge of Gresham, Ore.; two sisters, Beulah Santucci of Morris Plain, N.J., and Kathryn Castiglione of Ozone Park, N.Y.; and 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Ethra A. Baldridge; son, Tony Baldridge; a brother and a sister.
