A graveside service was held Thursday at the Ceres Memorial Park for Edward "Eddie" Keith Moore, 46, of Ceres. He died recently.
The Ceres Chapel of Franklin and Downs was in charge of arrangements,
Born November 1963, Eddie was a Ceres High School graduate before he became a military police officer. He earned the Army Achievement Medal for Exceptionally Meritorious Service. Eddie continued his service to the community as a Sheriff's Explorer, a volunteer Ceres firefighter, and a Modesto Police Reserve Officer.
He leaves behind his parents, Carol Moore and Lee Moore; two sisters, Jennifer Hughes and Julie Wynne; his brother, Anthony Moore; and his grandmother, Mary Sutton.
