A funeral service was held Friday at the Church of Latter Day Saints in Ceres for Emily Martin, 98, of Keyes. She died Sept. 12, 2011.
Burial was at Ceres Memorial Park under the direction of the Ceres Chapel of Franklin and Downs.
Born Oct. 30, 1912, Mrs. Martin was a longtime employee of John Ingalls Frozen Foods. She enjoyed gardening and volunteer work for the Salvation Army.
She leaves behind Gene and Faye Travels of Ceres and Ron Travels of Hayward. She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
