A Celebration of Life was held Saturday at the Modesto Junior College Auditorium for Ernesto "Ernie" Bucio, 53, of Ceres. He died Aug. 27, 2011.
Born Nov. 6, 1957 in Modesto, Ernie attended Ceres High School, Modesto Junior College, and California State University, Stanislaus. Mr. Bucio was known as a musician who performed at a myriad of community functions. Ernie recently became a co-owner of Gottschalk Music Center.
He leaves behind his wife, Karen Bucio of Ceres; his parents, Salvador and Connie Bucio; his brother, Salvador; sister Ruthie; four stepchildren, Teresa Armstrong, Erica Kutnick, Nkeche Ikpo and John Ikpo; and four grandchildren, Ari Anstead, Ella Armstrong, Caitlin Kutnick, and Morgan Kutnick.
