Turlock Memorial Park & Funeral Home for Esther Ruth Deatherage, 79, of Stevinson. She died Feb. 9, 2012 after a battle with lung cancer.

Born Aug. 25, 1932, Mrs. Deatherage worked as a weigh master for Bronco Winery in Ceres for almost 20 years until October 2011 when she became too weak to drive. She retired from Sharpe Army Depot in French Camp after 35 years as a clerk typist.

She leaves behind four children, David Means of Turlock, Dan Cox of Stevinson, Donna Williams of Keyes, and Doris Cargill of Turlock; three sisters, Cynthia Tidmore of Riverside, Edna Brock of Manteca, and Louise Cargill of Manteca; six grandchildren, D.J. Costa, Devan Anderson, Tenisha Williams, Shannon Williams, John Means and Diane Castro; and 10 great-grandchildren, Brendan Faria, D.J. Costa Jr., Electra Costa, JoJo Anderson, Charlee Rose Anderson, Ryan Simmons, Shanna Williams, Lily Williams, Emma Dunham and Zoey Esther-Ruth Dunham.
