A funeral service was held at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel in Ripon on Thursday, Dec. 20 for Frances Anna Bradley, 82, of New Braunsfel, Texas. The former area resident died Dec. 11, 2007 after a long illness.

Burial was a the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella.

Born Dec. 9, 1925, Mrs. Bradley lived most of her life in Modesto, Ceres, Turlock and Victorville. Over the past two years she resided in Texas with her son. Mrs. Bradley was active in the church until she became ill. She loved taking care of children in the church nursery and making gifts for children in the hospital. Mrs. Bradley loved cooking, working in the garden and fishing. She also enjoyed animals of all kinds.

She leaves behind her children, William Bradley of New Baunsfel, Texas, Sandra Wells of Priest River, Idaho and Cathy Dupree of Manteca; and six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her oldest daughter Peggy Smith; and her loving husband Bill Bradley.
