A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Modesto for Freda V. Berg, 87, of Modesto. She died Nov. 2, 2007 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.
Born Aug. 18, 1920, Mrs. Berg retired from teaching with the Ceres Unified School District in 1976. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, Alpha Delta Kappa and WELCA.
She leaves behind four sons, John Berg of Albany, Ore., Alan Berg of Manteca, Grant Berg of Chico, and Tim Berg of Fresno; and six grandchildren, Riley Berg, Meagan Berg, Laura Berg, Katherine Berg, Christopher Berg, and Charlie Berg. She was predeceased by her husband Conrad Berg.
