A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 5 at his former residence for Gary Don Haston, 66, of Ceres. He died April 9, 2012 in Ceres after battling cancer.
Franklin and Downs Funeral Home was in charge of private arrangements.
Born May 25, 1945 in Alabama to McGary and Maggie Haston, Gary moved to Ceres in 1953 where he grew up all his life. After graduating from Ceres High School he joined the Armed Forces. Mr. Haston started his own construction business 30 years ago and was a big classic car collector. He loved building hot rods, attending car shows and having fun with son Adam, his friends and family.
Gary leaves behind his son, Adam Haston; and two brothers. He was preceded in death by brothers Jerry Haston and Jim Haston, and sister Sandra Lott.
