A celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Smyrna Park covered picnic shelter in Ceres for Harvey Mosley Sr., 70, of Ceres. He died suddenly on Sept. 9, 2011.

A potluck will immediately follow.

Born Jan. 29, 1941 in Holly Grove, Ark., to Charles and Estie Smalley, Harvey was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing, camping and hunting, but he most loved spending time with his family.

He leaves behind his wife, Judy Mosley of Ceres; his children, Harvey Mosley Jr., of Modesto, and Darren Mosley, Shannon Mosley and Bryan Mosley, all of Ceres; seven grandchildren, Rob, Krys, Joe, and Dylan, all of Modesto, and Rebecca, Courtney and Zachary, all of Ceres; his mother, Estie Smalley of Arkansas; three brothers, Jim Mosley and Bud Mosley, both of Arkansas, and Charles Mosley Jr of Illinois; and three sisters, Ann and Sue of Arkansas and Louise of Mississippi.
